COPPERFIELD

The Copperfield Recording Studio and Copperfield Records history started in the early 1960’s when the owner (David Gibson) built his first recording studio in what was an old retail shop in the Sydney, suburb of Hurstville. It started as the Top Spot label followed 66SOUND  and then culminating as Copperfield. The label is proud to be able to say that after more than fifty years serving the Australian recording and music industries, it is still able to call itself an Independent Australian Record Company.
