In the early 80s Wyndham Hill, an American label, was making inroads with its instrumental-based semi ambient music. Warren Fahey wanted to show Australian instrumentalists could do just as well, if not better. Jarrah Hill released everything from contemporary jazz to Aboriginal fusion.
